Meet the Employees

Kaley Jones, marketing director and store clerk

I am full time mommy of 2 (Deacon Everett born in 2015 & Evelayn Danai born in 2020). I guess you could say I married into the antique mall family in 2013 because my mother in law is the manager. I became an offical member of the Antique mall team in 2018. I truly enjoy my job revamping, organizing booths and creating beautiful displays with my coworker, Mary. I recently took over marketing in Feb 2021 and I look forward to helping this business thrive. I like learning about the past, meeting new people from all over and helping find homes for all the goodies that take us down memory lane. I am always on the look out for a good vintage quilt, preferrably handstitched. There is just something about wrapping up in a old quilt that makes me feel close to all the ones I have lost and knowing someone put the time into making it makes it that much more valuable to me, even if i never knew and never will know them. Top picture is from my maternity session with my mothers favorite quilt and bottom picture shows our baby girl with her very own vintage quilt purchased at this antique mall, I think she approves! :) I also enjoy the hunt for pyrex. My absolute favorite pattern being friendship, with amish butterpint and black snowflakes being very close seconds. I hope you have enjoyed our website and continue to follow us as I will be doing my best to keep it updated.

Mike Cowan,"the man with a plan" store clerk and vendor.

I've been here from the very beginning, even before Mrs. Teresa took it over in 2010. I am the owner of booth 05, "I like it dusy and rusty." I started antiquing in 1999 here in this very mall by accident with only 2 booths, now I have 14 haha! I like dealing in primitives, cast iron, architectual salvage, old tools, clocks and whatever catches my eye. My phrase is "I'd love to do it," so i will try to sell just about anything. I am always on the hunt and constantly bringing in more items weekly. Come in, look around and enjoy listening to the oldies on the radio as you shop!! I look forward to seein' ya!!

Larry Thompson, store clerk and vendor.

I have been in the antique business well over 10+ years. I started working at the Sturgis Antique Mall in 2017 and simply got hooked. I work partime 1-2 days a week, because I have another side job as an umpire/refferee. I became more active once I retired after 35 years from being a lineman for Kenergy. I have always been a picker so to speak, as I would never pass up a good deal whether it be from simple sales to buying household collections. Me and my wife stay busy looking for that special piece to bring into the mall. I am always on the look out for a variety of antiques from furniture to beautiful older dishes, glassware and fine china. I love finding older furniture pieces of various types and transforming them either by painting or refinshing for past, present and future generations of buyers. With the large selection of booths/vendors we have here at the mall we most more than likely have everything you might need and more to add to your collection to make it special. Come see us and check out my booth, Booth #02. If I dont have what your looking for I will work hard to find what you are needing!!

I started working at the Sturgis Antique Mall around 2017, alongside my sister. I am married and mother to 3 and have one grandson.  I've always liked decorating with vintage things, so this was a good fit for me.  I find most things at estate sales, yard sales, thrift stores, and buying from individual collections. My daughter has definitely caught the "thrifting bug" and will be working with me for the summer at the mall.  The thrill of the hunt is the most fun and I am always looking.  I usually look for jars, crocks, ironstone pieces, furniture, wooden boxes, blue willow, linens and just about anything that "brings me joy".  I especially enjoy working on vignette at the mall and decorating, redesigning booths alongside my co workers.  Also helping customers find that something special that they are searching for.  It's interesting to see what other people enjoy collecting.  Come check out booth #52
